Common questions
- How do I change the language? Use the switch at the top of any story page: English, हिन्दी or both. To change the language every story opens in, go to Settings.
- Which stories are read aloud? Stories with a small listening mark on their cover have "Read to me" in English and Hindi. Every story can also be recorded in your own voice.
- How do I record a story in my own voice? Open the story, tap "Record this story" on its first page, pass the grown-ups check, add a voice (Mummy, Papa, Dadi), and record page by page. Your child then chooses "Read by" and your name.
- Why does the app ask me to hold a button and solve a sum? That is the grown-ups check. It guards recording, deleting, saving a copy and every link out of the app, so a child cannot do these by accident.
- The microphone does not work. Open your phone's Settings, find Katha Vardhan, and allow the microphone.
- Will I lose my recordings? Recordings stay only on your device. Deleting the app deletes them. Use "Save a copy" on a recorded page to keep a file.
- What is bedtime mode? In Settings, bedtime mode dims the pages and closes the story when the sleep timer ends.
- Does it need the internet? No. Everything is inside the app.

सामान्य प्रश्न
- भाषा कैसे बदलें? किसी भी कथा के पन्ने पर ऊपर दिए विकल्प से चुनें: English, हिन्दी या दोनों। हर कथा किस भाषा में खुले, यह सेटिंग में बदलें।
- कौन-सी कथाएँ पढ़कर सुनाई जाती हैं? जिन कथाओं के चित्र पर सुनने का छोटा चिह्न है, उनमें "मुझे पढ़कर सुनाओ" हिन्दी और अंग्रेज़ी में मिलता है। हर कथा आप अपनी आवाज़ में भी रिकॉर्ड कर सकते हैं।
- अपनी आवाज़ में कथा कैसे रिकॉर्ड करें? कथा खोलें, पहले पन्ने पर "यह कथा रिकॉर्ड करें" दबाएँ, बड़ों की जाँच पूरी करें, एक आवाज़ जोड़ें (माँ, पापा, दादी), और पन्ना-पन्ना रिकॉर्ड करें। फिर बच्चा आपके नाम वाला विकल्प चुनता है।
- ऐप बटन दबाकर रखने और जोड़ हल करने को क्यों कहता है? यह बड़ों की जाँच है। रिकॉर्ड करना, मिटाना, प्रति सहेजना और ऐप से बाहर के लिंक इसके पीछे हैं, ताकि बच्चा भूल से ऐसा न कर दे।
- माइक काम नहीं कर रहा। फ़ोन की सेटिंग में कथा वर्धन खोजें और माइक की अनुमति दें।
- क्या मेरी रिकॉर्डिंग खो सकती हैं? रिकॉर्डिंग केवल आपके फ़ोन या टैबलेट पर रहती हैं। ऐप हटाने पर वे भी हट जाती हैं। किसी रिकॉर्ड किए पन्ने पर "एक प्रति सहेजें" से फ़ाइल सँभालकर रखें।
- सोने का समय क्या है? सेटिंग में इसे चालू करने पर पन्ने मंद हो जाते हैं, और टाइमर पूरा होने पर कथा बंद हो जाती है।
- क्या इंटरनेट चाहिए? नहीं। सब कुछ ऐप के भीतर है।
